Johnny Cakes made by a Rhode Island Yankee grandmother

While reading The beginner's American history by David Henry Montgomery, on page 58 it talks about how the Indians taught the women to make Hominy and Johnny-Cakes in 1634 in the settlement of Saint Mary's. We thought it would be fun to look up how to make Johhny cakes and found this video. One thing we do while reading is, we take time to look up photos and videos that help visualize what is taking place in the readings, which helps to retain a lot of the material that is being covered.
