How to send a fax with just a scanner; no fax machine.
There a several tasks to complete first, but it works if you are in a bind. This is free or nearly free...depending on how many documents you have to fax.
1) Scan your document(s)
2) Save your documents with a name you will understand and find easily
3) Locate document: Copy (ctl-c or right click-copy)
4) Paste (ctrl-v or right click-paste) into a MS Word Document and adjust the image size if needed
4) Save document
5) Go to: http://www.pdfonline.com/convert-pdf/ and convert to pdf if you have more than 3 pages
6) http://faxzero.com/ or http://www.gotfreefax.com/ and put in the required information and upload your file
7) Look for your confirmation email
8) All done!
